Removing and installing/replacing the SDARS (SDARS), (US version from 09/2009 only) (4' Series Coupe/Convertible, 4' Series Gran Coupe Sedan)
Preliminary work needed:
- Remove CAR INFORMATION COMPUTER (CIC) .
For equipment specification with head unit:
- Remove headunit. Refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) HEADUNIT BASIS (4' SERIES COUPE/CONVERTIBLE, 4' SERIES GRAN COUPE SEDAN) , or REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) HU-H) (4' SERIES COUPE/CONVERTIBLE, 4' SERIES GRAN COUPE SEDAN) .
When replacing, please observe:
Note SID number (1) of the removed device.
NOTE:
The SID number (1) can be found on the label of the housing. Location may be different, depending on the equipment manufacturer.
Note SID number (1) of the new device in the same way.
Input the enabling code from the Aftersales Assistance .
Replacement:
Carry out PROGRAMMING/CODING .
NOTE:
Please contact Sirius. Use the SID number to cancel current device and register new one.
