REP-TAT-P-1241-02 Installing starter motor

Prerequisite 

Battery earth lead is disconnected.

• Mount the starter motor (2).
• Tighten the screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Starter mounting to engine
  M8x60
  	Tightening torque
  		19 Nm

• Mount the positive battery cable on the starter motor.
• Tighten the nut and mount the cover (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Battery positive lead to starter
  Cap nut M8
  	Tightening torque
  		13.5 Nm

• Mount the cable (terminal 50) on the starter motor and tighten the nut (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Terminal 50 to starter motor
  M6 hexagon nut
  	Tightening torque
  		7 Nm
