- The use of the specified special tool (tool) is mandatory.
- The described operation must be carried out properly.

NOTE:
The description is for one component only. The procedure is identical for all further components.
- Insert the torsion spring (2) in the clamping lever of the special tool 2 359 088 .
- Make sure that the torsion spring (2) is correctly positioned in the marked area (1) of the special tool 2 359 088
.
- Carefully close the clamping lever of the special tool 2 359 088 in the accompanying stand until the snap-in hook engages.
- Ensure that the torsion spring (1) lies correctly in the lateral guides (arrows) of the special tool 2 359 088
during tensioning.
- Carefully close the clamping lever (2) of the special tool 2 359 088
in the mount (3) until the snap-in hook (1) audibly engages.
The torsion spring is tensioned.
- Carefully
move the clamping lever (2) of the special tool 2 359 088
with the tensioned torsion spring out of the mount (3) of the special tool 2 359 088
in the direction of the arrow.
- Insert the torsion spring (1) with the special tool 2 359 088
in the cylinder head (2).
- Insert the torsion spring (2) into the intermediate levers (1).
- Check all roller cam followers (3) for correct installation position.
- Lay special tool 2 359 088 flat in the marked area (1).
- Press the clamping lever of the special tool 2 359 088 together until the snap-in hook (2) unlocks.
- Carefully open the clamping lever of the special tool 2 359 088 until the torsion spring is completely relaxed.
- Remove the special tool 2 359 088
.
- Check the correct installation position of the torsion spring (arrow).
