REP-TAT-P-1123-02 Installing the vibration damper

NOTE: When removing/refitting or replacing the vibration damper, the radial shaft seal must also be replaced.

Clean oil and dirt off sealing surface (1).

Check if the special tool 0 496 595 (11 6 130) is installed correctly.

If not fitted, install special tool 0 496 595 (11 6 130), and then remove vibration damper.

Install vibration damper (2) from the top and position correctly. Tighten the screws (1).

Joining torque: 40 Nm, angle of rotation: 120°

NOTE: Replace screws.
