REP-TAT-P-1151-02 Installing coolant pumps

• Clean the sealing surface (1) from oil and contamination.

Check 

• Check the lining sleeve (1) for damage.

Desired state 

• Lining sleeve must not be scratched or deformed.

Result 

» Lining sleeve is damaged.

Measure

• Completely replace the coolant pump.

Parts:  Coolant pump

Check 

• Check the sealing bead for damage.
• Measure the height of the sealing bead in reference to the surface.

Result 

» The sealing bead is damaged or the measured dimension deviates.

Measure

• Remove sealing bead.

• Reapply sealing bead.
• Position the coolant pump on the component carrier.
• Tighten down screws (2) and (3).

• Clip on the vacuum hose (1).
