61 35 080 Removing and installing/replacing control unit/module for left or right seat adjustment
IMPORTANT:
Refer to: NOTES ON PROTECTION FROM ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE .
NOTE:
To facilitate installation/removal of control unit, move seat upwards and to the rear fully.
Unlock metal tab (1) towards front and remove control unit for seat adjustment (2) towards bottom.
Unlock and disconnect all associated plug connections.
Installation note:
Make sure control unit for seat adjustment (1) is correctly seated in bracket (2).
Guides (3) and metal tab (4) must not be damaged.
Replacement:
Carry out PROGRAMMING/ENCODING .
