51 16 163 Removing and installing/replacing rear center console cover

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 325

When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Press special tool 00 9 325 between center console (1) and cover (2).

Unclip cover (2) towards rear.

If necessary, unlock associated plug connections and disconnect.

Remove cover (2).

Installation note: 

Latches on cover and counterparts on center console must not be missing or damaged.

Replacement (depending on version): 

• Modify the FRESH AIR GRILLE IN REAR PASSENGER COMPARTMENT (1)
• Modify the 12 V CHARGING SOCKET (2)
• Modify the SWITCH (3)
