63 12 003 Removing and installing (replacing) left headlight

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Remove the FRONT BUMPER PANEL

Unlock and remove cover (1).

Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque, refer to: 63 12 1AZ .

Release screw (3).

Tightening torque, refer to: 63 12 1AZ

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque, refer to: 63 12 1AZ

Carefully remove headlight (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation note: 

Correctly install headlight (1) relative to holder (2).

Refer to: ADJUST HEADLIGHT .

US version:  Checking blocking at horizontal position, refer to: CHECKING BLOCKING AT HORIZONTAL POSITION

Installation note: 

Rubber plugs (1) in engine compartment lid (2) must not be missing or damaged.

No cavity preservation may emerge from the rubber plugs (1).

Replacement: 

• If necessary, remount bulbs
