Tools and sharp-edged components can cause scratches.

Tools and sharp-edged components can cause scratches.
- Protect working area.
- Handle tools and components carefully.
- Expand the grab handle (2) towards the bottom.
- Disengage cover (1) with angle screwdriver and remove.
Check
- Check which equipment specification of grab handle is installed on vehicle:
Equipment specification A Equipment specification B Shaft length of cover (1) 22 mm 15 mm Retaining clip (3) installed loosely, no tab Welded on grab handle, with tab (2)
Result
» Equipment specification A is installed.
Measure
- Pull grab handle with a jerk and unclip.
Check
- Check which equipment specification of grab handle is installed on vehicle:
Equipment specification A Equipment specification B Shaft length of cover (1) 22 mm 15 mm Retaining clip (3) installed loosely, no tab Welded on grab handle, with tab 2 Result
» Equipment specification B is installed.
Measure
- Carry out following jobs:
- Pull grab handle (2) inward gently.
- Release the bottom and top tab (1) with a screwdriver (3).
