11 00 039 Checking compression of all cylinders: Notes

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.
Preliminary work
- Remove the cover in the left engine compartment
- Remove the right cover in the engine compartment
- Refer to REMOVING TRAILING LINK AT SPRING STRUT DOME .
- Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER
- Remove the sound insulation on the bulkhead upper part at the center
- Refer to REMOVING ACOUSTIC COVER AT REAR
- Refer to REMOVING IGNITION COILS
- Refer to REMOVING ALL SPARK PLUGS
- Disconnect the connector A46*6B from the control unit
Follow-up work
- Refer to INSTALLING ACOUSTIC COVER AT REAR
- Install the sound insulation on the bulkhead upper part at the center
- Install tension strut on spring strut dome. Jointing torque: 56 Nm, angle of rotation: 90° NOTE: Replace screws.
- Install the cover in the engine compartment on the right
- Install the cover in the engine compartment on the left
- Refer to INSTALLING ACOUSTIC COVER
- Plug the connector A46*6B in at the control unit
- Refer to INSTALLING ALL SPARK PLUGS
- Refer to INSTALLING THE IGNITION COILS
- Refer to CHARGING BATTERY
