51 46 050 Removing and installing/replacing top cover on tail panel

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove the LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR TRIM PANEL (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT) 

Release expanding rivets (1).

Lever out trim (2) inwards/upwards.

Installation note: 

Make sure edge protection for tailgate (2) is correctly seated on cover.
