Removing and installing the brake pedal travel sensor (PHEV)
WARNING:
High-voltage system - danger to life
- Observe safety information for working with electric vehicles.
Removal:
Necessary preliminary tasks:
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release screws (2) and remove brake pedal travel sensor.
Installation:
Mount brake pedal travel sensor.
Insert screws (1) and tighten.
Tightening torque 35 11 2AZ .
Connect plug connection (2).
Required follow-up work:
- Install TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL MECHANISM .
- Carry out service function in the applicable BMW Workshop Equipmentt - initialization of brake pedal travel sensor.
