Removing and installing/replacing left socket housing for rear light (on tailgate)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Partially removing TRIM FOR REAR LID .

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unlock latches (2) and remove socket housing (3) from rear light (4).

Installation note: 

Make sure plug connection (1) is correctly seated.

Catches (2) must not be damaged or missing.

Make sure socket housing (3) is correctly seated on rear light (4).

Replacement: 

Carefully press down bulb (1), turn in direction of arrow and remove from socket housing (2).

Note BULB TYPE .
