NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
With the ignition off and the high-voltage safety plug disconnected, the Check Control message "High voltage system faulty" is displayed by default.
The message "High-voltage system switched off" (absence of voltage) is only displayed when the ignition is switched on.

- Do not pull on wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections.
Remove the left wiring harness section for sensor system 2

- Unclip the cover (1) in the marked areas toward the top from the holders.
- Unlock and loosen all connectors (1) in the direction of the arrow.
- Unlock and loosen connector (2).
- Unlock and loosen connector (3).
- Unlock and loosen the cable clip (4).
- Unlock and loosen the cable clip (5).
- Guide out the wiring harness section for sensor system 2 (6) and place to one side.
- Unlock and loosen clamp (1).
- Unlock the locks (arrows).
- Feed out cable channel (2) and set it aside.
- Unlock and detach the connector of the temperature sensor at the cylinder head.
- Unlock and detach the connector of the tank vent valve.
- Unlock and loosen the connector of the heat management module.
- Unlock and detach the connector of the intake camshaft sensor.

- Release the clamps (arrows).
- Loosen screw (1).
- Feed out cable duct (2) and set it aside.
- Unlock and detach the rail pressure sensor connector on the high-pressure rail.
- Unlock and detach the camshaft position sensor connector of the exhaust camshaft.
- Unlock and detach the connector of the hot film air mass meter.
- Unlock and detach the connector on the clean air pipe at the bottom.
- Unlock and detach the heating element connector for the air duct.
- Unlock and detach the exhaust turbocharger connector.
- Unlock and detach the high pressure pump connector.
- Unlock and detach the connector of the monitoring oxygen sensor.
- Unlock and detach the connector of the Lambda oxygen sensor.
- Unlock and detach the connectors from both solenoid valves for the camshaft adjustment.
