13 71 000 Removing and installing/replacing intake silencer housing (N55)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• F23, F33 only: 

  Remove left front strut.

Release connector (1) on hot film air mass meter and disconnect.

Release clamp (2).

Tightening torque: 13 71 1AZ .

Detach intake silencer housing (3) from rubber mount in upward direction.

Detach intake silencer housing from front rubber mount (4) and remove toward the top.

Reassemble the vehicle.
