51 11 183 Removing and installing (replacing) ornamental grille for bumper panel (side)

IMPORTANT: Because the ornamental grille is secured from the back in the Luxury Line model, the BUMPER PANEL must be removed first.

Luxury Line model:

Release circlip (1).

NOTE: Ornamental grille (1) is secured along the line (2) with latch mechanisms (3) on the bumper panel.

Pull ornamental grille (1) out towards front.

Installation note:

Catches (2) must not be damaged or missing.

In the case of replacement with appropriate version:

NOTE: Diagram as an example based on the "Sport series" design

Release cover rod (1) at latch mechanisms (2).

Remove finisher rod (1).

Installation note:

Catches (2) must not be damaged or missing.
