17 11 054 Removing and replacing right module carrier

Refrigerant circuit is under high pressure!

Avoid contact with refrigerant and refrigerant oil

IMPORTANT:
Risk of damage!
Restart engine only when A/C system has been correctly filled.
Follow INSTRUCTIONS for opening and replacing parts in refrigerant circuit!
If air conditioning system is opened for more than 24 hours.
Replace DESICCANT INSERT for A/C system.

Follow INSTRUCTIONS for opening and replacing parts in refrigerant circuit!
If air conditioning system is opened for more than 24 hours.
Replace DESICCANT INSERT for A/C system.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove left MODULE CARRIER .
- Draw off A/C SYSTEM .
Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 64 53 6AZ .
Pull air conditioning lines (2) of the air conditioning condenser.
Installation note:
Replace all sealing rings and moisten with refrigerant oil.
Lift out module carrier (1) right together with air conditioning condenser (2).
Release the air conditioning condenser from the module carrier. Release lock (1) on the side of the module carrier in direction of arrow.
Installation note:
When reinstalling the cooler and module carrier (1) the correct fit of the cooler in the bracket (2) must be ensured!
Reassemble the vehicle.
Evacuate and fill AIR CONDITIONING .
