52 24 037 Removing and installing/replacing seat frame

Special tools required:

52 0 050

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove REAR SEAT .

Optional equipment with seat heating only:

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Feed wiring harness out of plastic hooks.

Disengage cover welt in marked area from plastic hooks.

Loosen retainers (1).

Loosen retainers (1).

Disengage cover tabs from plastic hooks.

Remove padding with seat cover from seat frame.

Replacement only:

If necessary, remove CONTROL UNIT for seat heating.

Installation:

Remove all remnants of retainers.

Insert new retainers with special tool 52 0 050 .
