51 45... Removing and installing/replacing lower instrument panel cover

Special tools required: 

When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Carefully unclip cover (1) with special tool 64 1 020 at marked points and remove.

Installation note: 

If necessary, replace faulty clamps on back of cover (1).

Replacement: 

Remount clamps.
