52 13 021 Removing and installing/replacing flexmat on left or right front seat

Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove padding for front seat . See 5213400 Replacing seat cover on left or right front seat (normal/manual) or 52 15 400 Replacing seat cover for left or right front seat (sport/manual)

Remove plug housing (1) from flexmat.

Cut all cable ties and disengage wiring harnesses from flexmat.

Installation:

Make sure wiring harnesses are laid correctly.

Observe bending radius and do not lay wiring harnesses tensioned.

Disengage flexmat (1) at front.

Swing flexmat (1) down and disengage from seat frame.
