51 71 447 Removing and installing or replacing panel for cover on left or right side member

Release screws (1 and 2).

Release clips (3).

Unclip panel (1) in areas (A and B) from holders in direction of arrow.

Release panel (1) at clips (2) and remove in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Catches of panel (1) in areas (A and B) must not be damaged.

Installation:

Holders (1 and 2) must not be damaged.

If necessary, detach clips (3) from body and attach to panel for cover on side member.

Installation:

Make sure seal (1) is correctly seated on body and after assembly pay attention to 41 00... BODY GAP DIMENSIONS . .
