64 11 865 Replacing actuator drive for recirculated air flap (vehicles with N63 engine): Notes

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove AUXILIARY ELECTRONICS BOX
Remove RIGHT/REAR SUSPENSION CROSS-BRACE

Unlock plug connection (1) on automatic air recirculation control sensor (2) and disconnect.

Release screws (1) on fan housing cover (2).

Lift out fan housing cover.

Release screws (1).

Unclip relay lever (2) with a suitable tool.

Remove actuator drive (3).

Unlock plug connection (4) and disconnect.
