61 35 127 Removing and installing/replacing body gateway module

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD PROTECTION)  .

Read out PROGRAMMING/ENCODING  .

Necessary preliminary work: 

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release screw (2) and remove cable shoe (4).

Tightening torque 61 35 3AZ .

Pull body module (3) out of equipment holder (5) in direction of arrow.

Installation note: 

Make sure body module (3) is correctly installed in equipment holder (5).

Replacement: 

Carry out PROGRAMMING/ENCODING  .

Perform FlexRay synchronization via path:

Check printed-out or noted-down settings for car and key memory in CKM menu and reset if necessary
