Action in service

Precondition: Engine off

1st step: -> Read out raw data [clutch 1 pressure sensor, clutch 2 pressure sensor]

Tolerance range:

0.2 bar < pressure < 1.8 bar If error is sporadic: => Delete diagnostic fault code, road test. Then assess diagnostic fault codes stored in ECU fault memory.

1st step: Case 1: Pressure in one of the / both clutches outside tolerance range 2nd step: Defective pressure sensor(s)

=> Replace E-module

1st step: Case 2: Pressure in both clutches within tolerance range 2nd step: => additional fault 0x5A59 logged?

2nd step: Case 1: Fault present 3rd step: => Continue repair at 0x5A59 using test plan

2nd step: Case 2: Fault not present 3rd step: => Read out fault category

Precondition: Both transmission units in neutral, engine running

3rd step: Fault category 0, 2, 4 (undefined, charging time or pressure too low)

Run through pressure analysis three times:

Test routines

'Test_Druck_Leck1_01 '

'Test_Druck_Leck2_01 '

'Test_Druck_Sys15_01 '

'Test_Druck_Sysmax_01 '

3rd step: Case 1: All indices <= 1 4th step: => Delete diagnostic fault code

3rd step: Case 2: At least one index > 1 4th step: - Replace transmission

3rd step: Fault category 8 (pressure too high):

Possible damage to clutch 1 from excessive pressure.

-> Read out frequency counter (diagnostic fault code 0x5A44)

-> Assessment 4th step: => Perform service functions 'Learn clutch/ PV1' + 'Learn kiss-point'

4th step: Case 1: Service functions executed without problems 5th step: => Delete diagnostic fault code

4th step: Case 2: Error during service functions 5th step: => Repair according to service function
