63 11... Installing headlight repair kit

Necessary preliminary work:

NOTE:

Damaged holders (1, 2, 3, 4) can be replaced with the repair kit.

Replacement of headlight is not required!

Genuine holders on the headlight and the corresponding holder from the repair kit are marked with "Service I to IV".

Additionally, holders from the repair kit are marked with an "L" for the left or "R" for the right side.

Install holder from the repair kit according to the identification.

The numbering in the image corresponds to the numbering on the headlight.

Unscrew additional bracket from holder 1.

Remove damaged holders (1, 2, 3, 4) as shown above.

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!

Do not damage headlight housing!

Do not damage mountings for holders from the repair kit.

Mount holder from the repair kit (1, 2, 3, 4) as shown above and tighten by means of enclosed screws (see arrows).

Mount additional bracket (5) on the holder (1) and tighten by means of screw (6).

Slide sheet metal nut on holder (3, 4).
