Removing and installing/replacing intake silencer housing (N55)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Detach line clip (1) from intake silencer housing in upward direction.

NOTE: For illustration purposes, the drawing does not show the upper section of the intake filter housing installed.

Release clamp (1).

Tightening torque 13 71 3AZ .

Pull intake silencer housing upward out of rubber mounts and remove.

Reassemble the vehicle.
