51 11 185 Removing and installing/replacing side ornamental grille for bumper panel (X6 2015-2019)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove BUMPER PANEL .

Removal: 

Feed out cable (1).

Release air duct (3) at latch mechanisms (4).

Feed out air duct (3) from guides (2) and remove.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Detach cable (2).

Release ornamental grille (3) from latch mechanisms and remove.

Installation: 

Replacement: 

Remount ULTRASONIC SENSOR (1) .

Remount clip (2).

Mount ornamental grille (3) and engage at latch mechanisms.

Connect and lock plug connection (1).

Attach cable (2).

Feed air duct (3) into the guides (2).

Engage air duct (3) in latch mechanisms (4).

Feed in cable (1).
