Removing and installing/replacing storage compartment in luggage compartment on left or right (X6 2015-2019)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove AUTOMATIC SOFT CLOSE DRIVE ON TAILGATE  (required for left storage compartment only)
• Remove FLAP IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL  (required for right storage compartment only)

Removal: 

Left side: 

Remove warning triangle (1).

Feed out storage compartment (2) towards top.

Remove first-aid kit (3).

Right side: 

Release clips (1) and feed out storage compartment (2).

Installation: 

Left side: 

Feed in storage compartment (2).

Insert first-aid kit (3).

Install warning triangle (1).

Right side: 

Feed in storage compartment (2) and mount clips (1).

Required follow-up work: 

• Install AUTOMATIC SOFT CLOSE DRIVE ON TAILGATE .
• INSTALL FLAP IN RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL
