51 45 400 Remove and install the center dashboard cover (X6 2015-2019)
When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove the CENTRAL INFORMATION DISPLAY .
Release screws (1).
Unclip the trim (2) from the clamps (3) by pressing toward the back.
Installation note:
Replace faulty clamps (1).
Guides (2) must not be missing.
When fitting the cover, make sure guides (2) are correctly seated.
