51 34 420 Removing and installing/replacing cover on window frame of rear door (front), left or right (X6 2015-2019)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Open rear side window
- Detach COVER ON DOOR WINDOW FRAME in B-pillar area.
Removal:
Pull off rubber seal (1) and rubber window seal (2) from cover (3).
Release screws (1).
Carefully detach cover (2) towards front/top.
Installation:
NOTE:
Fitted foam parts must not be damaged when cover (2) is pushed in.
Carefully feed in trim (2).
Tighten down screws (1).
NOTE:
Moisten rubber window seal prior to fitting with water.
Mount rubber seal (1) and rubber window seal (2) on cover (3).
Required follow-up work:
- Mount COVER ON WINDOW FRAME in B-pillar area.
- Close rear side window
