12 14 610 Removing/replacing the knock sensors on the right (N63 B40/B44 O 1, S63 B44 T2) (X6 xDrive 50i)

Necessary preliminary work 

• Read out the fault memory of the DME control unit.
• Switch off ignition.
• Remove RIGHT INTAKE PLENUM .

Unlock and disconnect connector (1) on both knock sensors.

Release screws on both knock sensors (2).

Tightening torque 13 62 5AZ .

Remove knock sensors (3).

Installation note: 

Clean contact surface of knock sensors on engine block.
