Removing and installing timing case cover, top left (S63T2) (X6 M)

Timing case cover, cylinders 5-8 

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Remove left CHARGE AIR COOLER .
• Remove COOLANT PIPE. .

Removal: 

Release screws (1).

Remove timing case cover (2).

Installation: 

Installation note: 

Replace gasket (1).

Position timing case cover (2).

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 11 14 3AZ .

Required reworking: 

• Install the COOLANT PIPE. .
• Install the left-hand CHARGE AIR COOLER .
