12 14 602 Removing/replacing knock sensor (1st and 2nd cylinder) (N20 hybrid drive)

Compliance with the following points is mandatory before beginning work:

IMPORTANT: Observe notes on PROTECTION FROM ELECTROSTATIC DAMAGE .

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Removal:

Unlock connector (1) and remove.

Release bolt (2) on knock sensor.

Remove knock sensor (3) for 1st and 2nd cylinder.

Preparation for installation:

Clean contact surfaces of knock sensors on engine block.

Installation:

Install knock sensor (3) for 1st and 2nd cylinder.

Tighten screw (2) on knock sensor.

Tightening torque 13 62 4AZ

Attach and lock connector (1).

Connector (1) must engage audibly.
