72 11 041 Removing and installing/replacing front left or right lower strap (seat belt tensioner)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove FRONT SEAT

Installation note: 

• Microencapsulated screws must be replaced and may not  be reused
• Screw connection must be completed within 20 minutes (start of curing)
• Microencapsulated screws must not  be retightened
• Clean thread of nut beforehand in event of repeated use

Unclip the PLUG CONNECTION (1)  from the trim and disconnect.

Release screw (2).

Remove belt tensioner (3).

Installation note: 

Belt tensioner (3) is coded against incorrect installation.

Replace screw (2).

Tightening torque 72 11 03AZ .
