Removing and installing or replacing trim for rear lid (X5 M)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Release TRIM PANEL FOR REAR WINDOW FRAME  on left/right in lower area only, do not remove.

  Release screws (1).

  Release trim panels (2) from clips (3).

  Unlock associated plug connections and disconnect.

Installation note: 

If necessary, replace faulty clips (1 and 2).

If necessary, lift out clips remaining in body and pre-install on trim panel.
