Removing and installing/replacing trim on C-pillar at bottom left or right (3rd row of seats) (X5 M)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove DOOR SILL COVER STRIP AT REAR .
Slide cover (1) upwards.
Release screw (2) underneath it.
Installation note:
Replace screw (2).
Tightening torque 72 11 21AZ .
Pull off edge protection (1) in the area of trim (2).
Detach cover (2) at clip (3).
Release trim (2) from clips (4) in direction of arrow and remove.
Installation note:
If necessary, replace faulty clips (1).
Guides (2) must not be damaged.
