51 32 211 Replace left or front right rubber window seal for door window glass

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove EXTERIOR MIRROR FROM THE FRONT DOOR .
Remove FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL
Remove WINDOW FRAME TRIM OF THE FRONT DOOR

Attention!

The "NOTES ON FITTING WINDOW GUIDE SEALS " serve as the basis for this repair instruction and must be observed without fail.

Remove sound insulation (1).

Installation note:

The seal (1) must not be damaged or missing.

Make sure that the gasket (2) is installed correctly.

Coat the gasket (2) with the authorized lubricant before the installation.

Release clip (1).

Release rubber window seal (1) from front door (2) in the direction of arrow.

Installation note:

Moisten the rubber window seal (2) with water before fitting.

Rubber window seal (1) must not be damaged in corners (2).
