13 71 000 Removing and installing/replacing intake silencer housing (N20)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Switch off ignition.

Release connector (1) on hot film air mass meter and disconnect.

Release clamp (2).

Tightening torque: 13 71 1AZ .

Release clean air pipe from intake silencer housing.

Release screw (3).

Tightening torque: 13 71 3AZ .

Pull the intake silencer housing (4) up and out of the rubber mounts and remove.

Reassemble the vehicle.
