61 61 270 Removing and installing (replacing) console for windscreen wiper system complete with electric motor

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Refer to REMOVING REAR COWL PANEL COVER

Removal: 

Slacken nut (1).

Unlock connector (2) and disconnect (see next illustration).

Unfasten screws (3).

Remove the console for the windscreen wiper system (4).

Press lock on the connector underside and pull out the connector.

Installation: 

Feed in console for windscreen wiper system (4).

Tighten screws (3).

Tightening torque 61 61 1AZ .

Tighten nut (1).

Tightening torque 61 61 5AZ .

Connect connector (2).
