61 31 037 Removing and installing/replacing light operating facility

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Remove decorative strip on dashboard on left. See 51 45 370 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) LEFT DECORATIVE STRIP ON DASHBOARD .

Removal: 

Release all screws (1) and detach light operating facility (2) from left decorative strip (3).

Installation: 

Join light operating facility (2) to left decorative strip (3).

Tighten all screws (1).

Required follow-up work: 

• Install decorative strip on instrument panel at left. See 51 45 370 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) LEFT DECORATIVE STRIP ON DASHBOARD .
