51 33 000 Removing and installing (replacing) power window regulator in left or right front door

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove side window. See 51 32 170 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING DOOR WINDOW GLASS, FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT .

Lift cover (1) and slacken nut (2).

Installation note: 

Nut is tightened during adjustment of side window.

Remove drive cable from clip (1).

Release nuts (2 and 4).

Feed out window lift rails (3).

Installation note: 

Clip in the drive cable correctly in clip (1).

Tighten nuts (2 and 4).

Tightening torque 51 33 6AZ .

Install door window glass. See 51 32 170 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING DOOR WINDOW GLASS, FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT .

Adjust cavity gap. See 51 37... ADJUSTING THE REAR LEFT AND RIGHT WINDOW CAVITY GAP .

Replacement: 

Remount FLAT MOTOR FOR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR .
