Removing and installing or replacing trim for rear lid (M4 Coupe)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove both TRIM PANELS FOR HINGES .

Version with emergency release: 

Detach handle (1) from clip (2).

Unhook Bowden cable (3) from handle (1).

Installation note: 

Feed Bowden cable (3) through clip (2) and engage correctly in handle (1).

Remove warning triangle (1) from bracket.

Release screws (2) and remove warning triangle holder.

Release expanding rivet (1).

If necessary, feed out Bowden cable from emergency release.

Remove trim panel (2).

Installation note: 

Replace faulty expanding rivets (1).
