11 74 507 Replacing the pressure converters for exhaust turbocharger (N20)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove acoustic cover  . See 11 12 090 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/RENEWING ACOUSTIC COVER (N20)  or 11 12 090 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/RENEWING ACOUSTIC COVER (N26) .

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Remove vacuum line (OUT).

Unfasten screws (2).

Remove pressure converter (3).

Installation note: 

If the pressure converter is renewed, the (VAC) line must be converted.

Reassemble the vehicle.

Check function of DME.
