51 16 001 Removing and installing/replacing mirror on left or right front door

Necessary preliminary tasks:

First unclip trim (1) inwards in area (A), the feed out upwards in area (B).

IMPORTANT: Secure the mirror (4) against falling.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Press sealing (2) aside slightly.

Undo the screws (3) and remove the mirror (4).

Tightening torque: 51 16 1AZ .

Installation note:

Make sure exterior mirror (1) is correctly fitted on sealing (2).
