51 37 240 Removing and installing or replacing outer window cavity cover strip for door window, rear left or right

IMPORTANT: The "INSTRUCTIONS ON INSTALLATION OF WINDOW GUIDES " serve as the basis for this repair instructions and must be observed without fail.

NOTE: Prior to removing, pay attention to the exact installation position with respect to the adjoining components.

Removal:

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
If the weather strip (1) is lifted out too much, it can be bent.
Attach adhesive tape under window cavity weather strip (1) (damage to paint).

Carefully lever weather strip (1) out of the side panel using special tool 00 9 311 .

Installation:

Press the weather strip (1) carefully into the side panel.

NOTE: Make sure the adjacent components are correctly positioned.
