Fault description

Diagnosis monitors an inactive signal of the coolant temperature sensor in the upper temperature range.

The fault is detected when the sensor value is too high compared to the shutdown time. (Shutdown time >6h)

Possible fault cause:

1. Faulty sensor cable and supply lines
2. Faulty plug contacts (components and Digital Motor Electronics side)
3. Faulty sensor
4. De-energized instrument panel (e.g. after disconnecting battery, production/rail loading mode, transport mode)
