Fault description

Diagnosis monitors throttle valve adaptation.

The voltage values of the two throttle valve sensors are not in the valid range at the lower mechanical stop (throttle valve fully closed) (sensor 1: 0.5 V +/-0.3 V; sensor 2: 4.5 V +/-0.3 V

Possible fault cause:

• Throttle valve impaired by soiling
• Wiring harness between DME and throttle valve actuator motor defective
• Throttle valve faulty
