Install oil pump

• Remove engine oil line (1)  from the oil pump in the arrow direction.
• Remove oil feed line (2)  from the oil pump in the arrow direction.

• Replace the O-rings (1)  and (2)  .

• Grease the O-rings (1)  and (2)  .

• Replace the O-ring (1)  in the crankcase.

• Install oil feed line (1)  and engine oil line (2)  in the crankcase.

• Install the oil pump (3)  .
• Replace the nuts (1)  and apply hand-tight.

• Replace the screw (2)  and apply hand-tight.

  Oil pump (3)  must rest against the bearing journal.

• Guide the sprocket in the roller chain and position it on the oil pump.
• Tighten the bolts (1)  with the special tool 0 493 434 (11 7 200)  .

M6	Tightening torque	10 Nm

• Install the base plate (A)  of the special tool 2 413 036  with the screws (1)  .
• Tighten down screws (1)  .

Oil pan 17 Nm
M8 x 25 Replace screws.	Tightening torque	17 Nm

• Attach the special tool 2 413 036  with the screws (1)  on the base plate.
• Tighten down screws (1)  .

Standard screw connection M8
M8	Tightening torque	19 Nm

• Press the secondary indicator (1)  of the special tool 2 413 036  to the left and right and determine the value.

Adjustment value for oil pump timing chain
		10 +1-3 mm

• Pretension the roller chain by turning the adjusting sleeve (1)  until the setpoint value has been reached.

• Tighten the nuts (1)  on the oil pump (3)  .

Oil pump to bearing journal
Nut M8	Tightening torque	24 Nm

• Tighten down screw (2)  .

• Press the secondary indicator (1)  of the special tool 2 413 036  to the left and right and check the value again.

		10 +1-3 mm

• Remove the special tool 2 413 036  .

• Check banjo bolt (1)  for contamination and, if necessary, clean it.
• Check O-ring (2)  for damage and, if necessary, replace the control line.

• Install the control line (3)  .
• Tighten the banjo bolt (2)  .

Control line to crankcase
M10	Tightening torque	23 Nm

• Tighten down screw (1)  .

M6x16	Tightening torque	10 Nm

• Install the intake pipe with oil strainer (5)  .
• Replace the O-rings of the bolts (4)  .

• Tighten down screws (4)  .

M6	Tightening torque	10 Nm
