Replacing oil pump
- Position special tool 0 493 940 (11 9 280) on special tool 0 496 369 (11 8 920) .
- Attach and connect the special tools hand-tight with standard M8 screws (1) .

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The thread is a left-hand thread.
The thread is a left-hand thread.
- Do not counter-hold the oil pump drive with pliers.
- Correctly position the special tools 0 496 369 (11 8 920) and 0 493 940 (11 9 280) (2) on the sprocket wheel.
- With the help of a second person, counter-hold the oil pump on the special tool 0 493 940 (11 9 280) (2) .

- Loosen nut (1) .
- Check the dihedral (arrow) of the oil pump shaft (1)
for damage.
The dihedral (arrow) of the oil pump shaft (1) must not be damaged; replace the oil pump if necessary.
- With the help of a second person, counter-hold the oil pump on the special tool 0 493 940 (11 9 280) (2) .
- Replace nut (1)
