Installing The Side Panel On The Right

Installing the left front side panel 

• Close front door.
• Install the side panel (1) towards the vehicle at an angle, shifting from the rear to the front.

  Position the hooks (2) in the guide at the headlights (3).

  Position the side panel (1) on the vehicle around the A-pillar.

• Screw in all screws on the side panel (1) until it is just about possible to shift the side panel (1).

  The gap dimensions form the basis for these repair instructions and must be observed without fail.

• Adjust gap dimensions.
• Tighten the screws (1).

  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS 

  Side panel to bracket
  M6 screw Renew screw.	tightening torque	8 Nm

• Tighten the screws (1).

• Tighten the screws (1).

• Tighten down screw (1).

  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

• Open the front door.

  Tighten down screw (1).

  Press onto the signaled area of the seal (3) and engage the hook (2).

  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS 

  Side panel to bracket
  M6 screw Renew screw.	tightening torque	8 Nm

• Install the shaped part (1).
